From New York to the World, artist "Disney Amyka" who has Jamaican origins is immensely grateful to her uncle, Top Music Producer Rohan “Jah Snowcone” Fuller, who from a very young age exposed Disney to the music industry. Disney always had a passion for music and that's why Disney listened to his uncle's conversations about the music industry and attended private jam sessions with the best musicians and songwriters whenever possible.

All her hard work led to a chance meeting with J. Conrad Robinson. Notable for discovering and helping to develop Alicia Keys, he has provided lead vocal production for industry heavyweights such as Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Jeff “Gitty” Gitleman, H.E.R, Mary J. Blige and others.
Disney takes inspiration from names such as: Lauryn Hill, Brian McKnight, Dennis Brown, Bob Marley and more. Disney's creative aim is to blend contemporary R&B/Soul with Reggae and Dancehall in a truly unique and authentic way. With its sweet melodic tones, Disney creates music that is designed to uplift and spread positivity and self-empowerment.

In 2021, Disney released their debut single “Feel Good” and gained wide repercussion and support across the Caribbean people. Getaway is their latest single. The song starts simple, with few chords, and grows with each stanza, which is a positive point, because when it reaches the chorus it reaches its climax. The music is very well produced. The lyrics of the song with well-placed rhymes take us to an exodus, to somewhere we want to be. Disney's voice is very balanced and sweet, matching the melody perfectly. The rhythm of the song is constant and after listening to the first stanza we are able to sing while listening to the song.
